KPI - Key Performance Indicator
These are quantifiable measures used to assess performance. These are usually used to track progress towards strategic goals. In workforce programmes they usually include things like time-to-hire, fill rates or compliance accuracy. They are different from Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in that they usually do not carry a contractual or fiscal consequence for failure to achieve. KPIs vary between companies and industries, depending on their priorities or performance criteria.
